Make and Search Settlements

The Map page is where you will find groups of Volcans living in settlements. You can view all of the settlements on VOLCO by visiting the Map page. Every settlement has a unique position on the map which is described by x and y co-ordinates. If your class becomes part of the Volcan project, you get to choose your own co-ordinates and create, place and name your own settlement. Create and Search for Volcans

These are the inhabitants of VOLCO. All Volcans live in settlements. Every Volcan makes a page to show their character. On their page you can find out all about them: their name, special powers or abilities, the clothing they like to wear, their favourite object , their chosen accessory (jewellery, bag, shoes, belt, scarf etc.), where they like to live and their Volcan pet. If your class becomes part of the project, you can create your own Volcan identity. Click here to find a settlement.

Explore and add to the Archive

This is where all Volcan knowledge is stored. Here you can discover interesting facts about the planet. You can see examples of Volcan art, see what Volcans eat, what kind of games they like to play, what the weather’s like, where they live and if they work. Ancient knowledge is shown first, recent history last. If your class becomes part of the project, you will get a chance to put in your own ideas and help VOLCO evolve. Take part in and search the Forum

This is where Volcans can share their ideas with each other. If your class becomes part of the project, you will get a chance to send messages to other settlements. Elders (teachers) can organise this for you. Click here to explore the Forum and read or search Volcan messages so far.
